A single entrance exam for admission to post-graduate AYUSH courses for the 2025–2026 academic year is the All India AYUSH Post Graduate Entrance Test (AIAPGET) 2025.

All prospective AIAPGET Post-Graduate (Ayurvedic/Homeopathic) candidates are hereby notified that the West Bengal Medical Counseling Committee (WBMCC), which is part of the Directorate of Medical Education, Department of Health & Family Welfare, Government of West Bengal, will be conducting counseling for West Bengal State Quota seats in four State Government AYUSH institutions for the Post-Graduate session 2025–2026. Candidates should be aware that they must pay a one-time, non-refundable counseling charge at the time of registration. The applicant’s AIAPGET 2025 rank will determine the seat allocation in the West Bengal Ayush PG Counselling. Candidates who are unable to enroll in an earlier round should keep in mind that they can only be assigned from the available vacancies for that round when they later enroll in a specific round after registering and paying the required cost. A candidate cannot claim a seat that was awarded in a previous round if that candidate did not register or, if applicable, did not complete the necessary choices.

Online Registration:

Online registration will be available for the PG AYUSH Counseling 2025 in West Bengal via the website https://wbmcc.nic.in, strictly within the allotted time.  Through AIAPGET 2025, the qualified and eligible candidate will enter his or her name, mother’s name, date of birth, roll number, and application number in the online counseling system’s New Registration click button.

Application Fee Payment:

Therefore, when completing the online counseling form, the applicant must be extremely careful and attentive. The money for the AIAPGET 2025 counseling process is non-refundable, so the candidate is urged to exercise caution and verify their bank account before trying to make another payment. Candidates are unable to take part in the counseling procedure if they have not successfully paid for it.

Physical Documents Verification:

Candidates can see the name of the document verification location and the date for the physical document verification after their candidate profile letter has been generated.

They must physically appear at the specified college on the specified date and time, bringing their original credentials and one set of self-attested photocopies of their supporting documentation for document verification. The candidate will receive a server-generated verified certificate upon successful verification.

Choice Filling & locking Process:

To log in, candidates who have already registered and been successfully verified from the published list must select the “Already Registered Candidate” button and provide their roll number and password.  Following this stage, the candidate will be able to view the options and fill out the choice basket one at a time.

Candidates are asked to organize their choices according to their willingness, since the computer system will process their selections starting with the first option and working down to their individual merit rating. Candidates must save their selections because they won’t be accessible for allocation consideration if they don’t. The last step after organizing the choices is to provide the password and lock the choices.

Seat Allotment Process:

The seat distribution will be entirely provisional and determined by the candidates’ individual merits, ranks choices and according to their caste and PWD status.

Physical Documents Verification & College Reporting:

In order to get admission, the selected candidate must successfully complete a final physical document verification process at the designated college within the specified time frame, presenting the original documents along with the required college fee.

The candidate will be removed from the counseling process if they are unable to complete the document verification process because they did not have the necessary documents at the designated college.

West Bengal Ayush PG Counselling Application Fees:

A NON-REFUNDABLE counseling fee must be paid online by the qualified candidates using a credit card, debit card, net banking, or UPI payment methods. The cost of online counseling is Rs 2000 for all candidate categories. The applicant in question is also responsible for paying any additional bank transaction fees. The candidate login allows you to download and print the payment receipt.

The payment acknowledgement sheet and candidate profile letter, which contain all transaction data as well as the day and time slot for the physical document verification center details, are generated if the payment is successful and can be retrieved from the candidate log-in. It is further stated that all candidates must have a candidate profile letter created in order for their physical documents to be verified.

Medical fitness certificate:

To be qualified for admission in the seat assigned through counseling, a candidate must get fitness in the same format from a Registered Medical Practitioner using the format provided on the counseling website. One crucial requirement is medical fitness.

West Bengal Ayush PG cut-off 2025

According to NTA, an unreserved or EWS candidate must receive at least 50th percentile marks in AIAPGET 2025 in order to be eligible for admission to any PG Ayush course, unless the NTA or the Indian government lowers the cutoff during the counseling process. The minimal score for candidates who belong to the SC, ST, OBC-A, and OBC-B groups, however, must be at the 40th percentile unless the NTA or the Indian government lowers the cutoff during the counseling process. The minimal score for benchmark PWD candidates must be in the 45th percentile for EWS/Unreserved candidates and the 40th percentile for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates, unless the NTA or the Indian government lowers the cutoff during the counseling process.

West Bengal Ayush PG Seat Reservation:

Only seats from the State Quota reserved for SC, ST, OBC Category-A, and OBC Category-B would be distributed in accordance with caste certificates issued or validated in the State of WB. OBC applicants from the creamy layer must use their counseling choice as unreserved candidates if they achieve the required cutoff marks for the unreserved category.

The West Bengal State Higher Educational Institutions (Reservation in Admission) Act 2013’s policy regarding the reservation of seats for SC, ST, OBC-A, and OBC-B candidates will be adhered to for seats in Govt. Ayush Colleges, excluding the share of SC and ST candidates until the OBC share reaches 10% for OBC Category-A and 7% for OBC Category-B. Candidates in OBC Category A or OBC Category B must present a non-creamy layer (NCL) certificate issued by the OBC certificate issuing body on or after April 1, 2025, if the certificate was issued prior to April 1, 2025.
