Important details and guidelines for applicants taking part in the UP NEET MDS counselling 2025 in Stray Vacancy for MDS admission in UP
- All qualified candidates must register again and pay a separate online registration fee of Rs. 3000/- (Rs. Three Thousand only) in order to participate in the stray vacancy round.
- All UP NEET MDS 2025 counseling-related content will be posted on the department’s websites, https://upneet.gov.in and www.dgme.up.gov.in.
Eligibility Requirements for MDS Admission in UP 2025
- Applicants who passed the NEET-MDS 2025 entrance exam.
- Applicants must be obtained the BDS degree with minimum 50% marks.
- For MDS admission in UP, candidates must have finished their mandatory rotating internship within a year by March 31, 2025, at the latest.
- Candidates are eligible for Government State Quota seats and seats at Private MDS Colleges if they have completed the BDS program at one of the U.P. Government/Private Dental Colleges.
- Admission to Government State Quota Seats is not available to those who have earned a BDS from AMU, Aligarh, BHU, Varanasi, AIIMS Raebareli, or AIIMS Gorakhpur. Only private dental colleges, institutes, and universities are able to admit such applicants.
- Only private dental colleges, institutes, or universities will admit candidates who completed the BDS exam and were not from Uttar Pradesh.
- The NEET-MDS-2025 counseling is not available to a candidate who has already been admitted based on an earlier NEET-MDS entrance exam until the candidate has finished and passed the course for which they are currently enrolled.

Step 1: Registration Process

How to apply for UP NEET MDS Counselling 2025?
- UP NEET MDS Counselling registration will only be accepted online at https://upneet.gov.in.
- It is recommended that candidates complete the registration form on the UPNEET website independently, without the assistance of an agent or other third party.
- Candidates must register using their NEET-PG Roll No. and the same email address they used to register on the NBE website for the NEET PG-2025/NEET MDS-2025 entrance test, and they must adhere to the website’s instructions.
- When a candidate registers on the NBE portal, their information, including their name, mother’s and father’s names, date of birth, and other details, will be pre-populated and utilized for counseling. We won’t consider requests to alter these details.
- The registration form will then appear; candidates simply need to fill it out with their address, MBBS passed from, category, subcategory, in-service (PMHS) work status, and domicile.
- For the first, second, and third rounds of counseling, the candidate will only need to pay the Rs. 3,000 registration fee once.
- For the Stray vacancy round, each eligible candidate must register again and pay a registration fee of INR 3,000. There is no refund for the registration cost.
- A registration number will be generated following the successful submission of the registration form.
- Candidates will generate a password throughout the registration procedure in order to fill out and lock their choices. It is recommended that candidates not share the password to anybody.
- Candidates are encouraged to download their registration form and registration fee slip for future use after completing the registration procedure successfully.
Step 2: Merit List Publication
- After giving in-service (PMHS) candidates weight in accordance with the guidelines of the government order, the merit list for MDS admission in Uttar Pradesh will be created.
- The All-India NEET Rank of MDS students will be used to create the merit list.
- Before completing their choice form, candidates are encouraged to gather comprehensive information on the private colleges they plan to apply to.
Step 3: Choice Filling & Locking process
- Visit the website hips://upneet.gov.in to make a choice filing and log in with your NEET roll number and password that you created when you registered.
- The applicant may select as many options as they like. Until the last locking, the candidate may alter their selection.
- Choice filing won’t be finished until candidates lock and submit their selections within the allotted period.
- Choice Locking is required; otherwise, online allocation won’t take place.
- The choices cannot be changed, adjusted, or amended once it has been locked.
Step 4: Seat Allotment Process
- Following the scheduled choice-filling time, seats will be distributed based on the candidates’ merits and choices.
- Successful candidates’ seat allocation status will be shown on the https://upneet.gov.in website.
- Before reporting to their designated nodal center, dental college, selected candidates must download their allotment letter.
Step 5: College Reporting & Admission Confirmation
- If a candidate declines admittance to the assigned seat, they will be allowed to withdraw from the first round of counseling.
- If the candidate was accepted into the chosen college after the first round of counseling but decides to switch seats or colleges, they will still be eligible for a seat upgrade up until the third round of counseling.
- If a candidate is trying to upgradation it is advised that they not apply for the same seat or college where they have already been admitted. The previous allocation shall be immediately canceled if an applicant is given the same seat or college twice during the reshuffling rounds.
- Admission to the newly allocated seat is required; if the applicant does not accept the newly rearranged seat, the new allocation will be canceled.
- At the designated Government Medical & Dental Colleges or Nodal center listed in the allotment letter, candidates must finish the admissions process, which includes paying the required fees.

UP NEET MDS Counselling Registration & Counselling Fees 2025
Participation in the UP NEET MDS counseling is mandatory for candidates who are passed the NEET MDS exam.
Candidates must register on the official website, https://upneet.gov.in, in order to participate in the MDS counselling in Uttar Pradesh. Registration is required in order to participate in counseling.

- To take part in UP NEET MDS counseling, each candidate must deposit ₹1,000,000 as security money.
- Only ₹30,000 must be deposited for positions in the government sector.
- The aspirant must deposit ₹1,00,000 if he is applying for a seat at a private MDS college.
- By the specified deadline, candidates must make an online security deposit.
- A candidate will be deemed ineligible for counseling if he fails to submit it by the due date.
- He will be added to the seat allocation list that is posted on the department’s website following the security money deposit.
- Candidates must bring all of their educational records, registration documents, internship certificates, and other required paperwork to the counseling session.
- Candidates from Uttar Pradesh’s Other Backward Classes and Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) are advised that obtaining a certificate dated April 1, 2025, or later, is a requirement for completing the admissions procedure.
