This article contain the complete details of AIIMS PG 2023. AIIMS, New Delhi has released the application for AIIMS PG courses (MD/MS/MDS) on 5^th September 2022. AIIMS PG is a national level medical post graduate entrance examination which is conducted by All India Institute of Medical Sciences, Delhi.

Every academic year, AIIMS Delhi conducts this medical PG level examination to admit students in MD/MS/MDS programs. The AIIMS PG Exam is conducted twice a year i.e., January & July session. Read complete articles for details eligibility criteria, application process, exam pattern etc.

• AIIMS 2023 INI CET January session exam has been successfully conducted on 13^th November, 2022.
• Result has been announced in November 2022.
• Counselling process is also started for AIIMS PG MD/MS courses.
• Counselling for DM/MCh courses will be organized in December 2022 through INI SS exam.

NEET PG 2023 Eligibility Criteria

• Students must belong to Indian National.
• Candidates must hold MBBS/BDS degree for admission to MD/MS/MDS recognized by Medical Council of India/NMC(MCI)/Dental Council of India (DCI).
• Applicants must complete one year compulsory rotatory internship on or before 30.01.2023 for January session and for July session the date is 31^stJuly 2023.

The candidates interested in DM/M.Ch courses must have completed MD/MS or DNB degree from a recognized board or university.

AIIMS PG 2023 Application Form

The mode of application is online; candidates are required to apply in prescribed mode only. The online application of DM/M.Ch/MD courses is available on AIIMS PG official website from 29^th September 2022. However, candidates seeking admission in MD/MS/M.Ch/DM/MDS courses can submit applications from 05^th September 2022.

Last date to submit an online application for INI CET January session is 26^th September 2022 and 17^th October 2022 for INI SS January session. Candidates should register at AIIMS exams official website using contact number email ID. Complete application by uploading scanned copy of photograph, signature and thumb impression in prescribed format.

Application Fee: The fee can be paid online through debit/credit card or net banking. There is an application fee required for students belonging to PWBD.

• Availability of online application : 05^th September 2022
• Closing of online registration and details editing dates: 26 September 2022

Events and Dates of DM/MD/M.Ch courses

• Application process starts-29 September 2022
• Application ends on-17 October 2022
• Application status uploaded by- 21^th October 2022.
• Last date to submit documents- 25 October 2022.
• Admit cards will be available on- 31 October 2022.
• Examination date- 06^th November 2022.
• Results will be declared on- 11 November, 2022.
• Final results may be uploaded in December 2022.

 AIIMS PG Exam Pattern 2023

• The mode of examination is online, Computer Based Test (CBT).
• The medium of the question paper will be English.
• There are a total 200 questions for MD/MS and 80 questions for MDS in AIIMS PG question paper. All the questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs).
• The exam duration will be 90 minutes for INI SS aspirants and 3 hours for INI CET aspirants.
• One mark will be given for every correct answer and 1/3 will be deducted for every wrong answer.
• Syllabus of examination will be the subjects covered in bachelor degree education.
• Maximum marks for INI CET examination is 200 marks.

AIIMS PG 2023 Syllabus

The AIIMS PG 2022 Examination Syllabus of MS/MD / MDS is mentioned below. Questions will be based on the topics/subjects/areas – Pre-clinical, Para-clinical and Clinical phases. Students preparing for AIIMS PG examination must have to be aware of the syllabus for excellent performance in examination. 

The subjects are divided into three phases. 

Pre-clinical Phase:

Anatomy: Gross anatomy, Embryology and Genetics, Microanatomy and Neuroanatomy.

Biochemistry: Biological cell, Enzymes, Biomolecules, Food assimilation and nutrition, Metabolic pathways, Molecular Biology, their regulation and metabolic interrelationships, Hormones, pH, Buffer, physiological buffer systems, Environmental biochemistry, Immunology, cancer and cancer makers.

Physiology: General Physiology, Nerve–Muscle, Blood, Cardiovascular System, Respiratory System, Environmental Physiology, Gastrointestinal System, Nutrition, Reproduction, Kidney, Neurophysiology – General, Visceral and motivational system, Sensory system, Motor system, Special Senses, EEG, sleep and higher nervous functions, Yoga.

Para-clinical Phase:

Community medicine, Forensic Medicine, Microbiology, Pharmacology, Pathology, etc.

Clinical Phase:

Community Medicine, Obstetrics, Surgery and allied subjects (Anesthesiology, E.N.T, Ophthalmology and Orthopedics), Medicine and allied subjects (Psychiatry, Dermatology), Gynecology, Pediatrics, Clinical postings.

AIIMS PG Exam Center 

The examination will be held in 68 major cities across India. Read the official notification for a complete list of exam centers.

AIIMS PG 2023 Admit Card

Candidates who have submitted an online application form through its official website, will be able to download admit card/hall ticket online. The availability of AIIMS PG admit cards for January session has been uploaded on 07 November, 2022. However, the admit cards of the July session will be released in the last week of March 2023.

AIIMS PG 2023 Result

The result will be available at the official website of All India Institute of Medical Sciences, New Delhi. The result has been declared in November 2022 at AIIMS website. Results of the July session will be announced in the month of May 2023. Students who have been selected for further admission procedure have to join counselling rounds. A list of shortlisted candidates will be released before the counselling rounds. 

AIIMS PG 2023 Cut-Off 

The cut-off list of AIIMS PG will be released category wise on the official website. List will be prepared by considering the difficulty level of the examination, total available seats, no of the students appearing in the examination, etc. The cut-off for general category students will be 50% marks. On the other hand, for OBC it is 45% marks and ST/SC category have to obtain a 40% minimum. 

AIIMS PG 2023 Counselling

 Counselling will be held in three rounds. Mock round, Round 1 and Round 2 & Open counselling. Students are required to take all necessary documents at the time of Counselling. 

The counselling of AIIMS PG January session first round has been started (December 2022). To participate in counselling round, students have to register themselves to choose preferred institutes and programs.
