BPKIHS PG Entrance Exam 2024 is now replaced by MECEE PG examination that is conducted by NMEB.  Before MECEE PG exam, BPKIHS invites application from eligible candidates for admission to post graduate medical courses MD/MS/MDHA, MDS, MSc and MPH through its own entrance examination but now MECEE is the single entrance examination held across Nepal for admission in PG courses.

BPKIHS Overview

BPKIHS was established on January 18, 1993 and located at Dharan, Nepal. The college is one of the premier medical colleges of Nepal. The institute organizes its own exam for admission to both MD/MS in Nepal and UG courses.

MECEE-PG Entrance Exam

MECEE PG refers to the Medical Education Commission Entrance Examination is a national level entrance examination held in Nepal. This objective of the examination is to provide admission in various MD MS courses across a number of educational institutes of Nepal. It is conducted by Nepal Medical Education Board. Authority invites application of national and international aspirants seeking admission in Nepal. 

MECEE examination is held one time in a year. It is a common competitive examination that provides an opportunity to get admission in best colleges of Nepal. Exam is conducted for three hours. The Mode of examination will be Online. English is the language used for instructions and in question paper. Questions consist of 300 MCQs questions for a maximum 300 marks.

BPKIHS PG Admission Eligibility Criteria 2024

Candidates who want to take PG admission in BPKIHS, must meet with following eligibility criteria-

• He/she must have done MBBS from a recognized medical college/university.
• Must have completed a one-year compulsory internship.
• Must be registered in respective medical council.
• He/ She must have passed the MECEE entrance examination. 

Exam Fees

Medical aspirants who want to apply for the entrance test, need to pay a prescribed application fee to the exam authority (MECEE). The application fees as below-

For Nepalese candidates: 5000/-

For Indian Candidates: 5000/-

BPKIHS PG Application Form 2024

The MECEE online application form will be available from September 2024 on its official website.  Last date of registration will be October 2024. Candidates need to register with email ID and mobile number at the website. An activation link will be sent to the email inbox to verify the email address.

After email verification candidates need to login again to fill the online application. Complete the application form by entering personal details, address for communication and academic details.

Scanned copy of photo, signature and other documents is required to upload. After uploading and submitting the first step of application, pay the prescribed application fees.

BPKIHS PG Admit Card

The admit card will be issued after the registration. The admit card will be issued to only those candidates, who have submitted their application and paid prescribed application fees. The hall ticket or admit card will be available to download through the official website all you have to do is just enter your login credential to download the admit card.

Counselling

The date of counselling will be announced after the declaration of entrance result. The date of counselling will be updated here.. The candidates will be invited for counseling as per their merit.
