What is AIAPGET?

A test for postgraduate admission in homoeopathy, Siddha medicine, Ayurvedic medicine, and Unani medicine is called the All India Ayush Post Graduate Entrance Test, or AIAPGET. The Indian government’s Ministry of AYUSH assists the National Testing Agency (NTA) in administering the test. The exam will be administered online using a computer each year.

Students may wish to apply for admission to MS, MD, or PG diploma programs in these specific subjects if they meet the exam’s cutoff percentile requirements. Merit determines admission to MS, MD, or postgraduate diploma programs in Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and homoeopathy. For students who meet the AIAPGET qualifying conditions, a counselling round will be held by the AYUSH Admissions Central Counselling Committee (AACCC).

As part of the registration procedure, candidates must provide basic information such as name, date of birth, phone number, email address, etc. Filling out the form, sending documents in the necessary format, choosing exam venues, and paying the registration costs complete the registration part of the application form method.

Those who successfully submit their applications and meet all other qualifying requirements will have access to their admission card. After the NTA publishes their admit card online, candidates must download it using their login information.

Applicants must achieve the minimal AIAPGET cutoff score in order to be eligible for the exam. The general category has a minimum cutoff percentile of 50%, whereas the SC/ST category has a minimum cutoff percentile of 40%. It should be noted that applicants who pass the exam with the necessary minimum cutoff score will be eligible for AIAPGET counselling. The full counselling process will take place online. AACCC PG counselling includes registration, choice-filling and locking, seat allocation, seat allocation results, and college reporting. Three rounds of counselling will determine Ayush PG admission.
