  • Applicants who hold an MBBS degree or a Provisional MBBS Pass Certificate recognized by the Indian Medical Council Act 1956, as well as a permanent or provisional registration certificate of MBBS qualification issued by the Medical Council of India or a State Medical Council, are eligible. 
  • Aspiring candidates should have obtained at least 55% marks in M.B.B.S. Note that the minimum marks requirements vary between 50% to 60%.
  • One-year compulsory rotatory internship is also necessary after completing the final year examination. The candidate must have completed internship before 31st April of the admission year.
  • NEET-PG a widely accepted entrance exam for MD/ MS admission. However, few renowned colleges even conduct their own entrance exams. Passing a relevant entrance exam is also necessary.

MD Dermatology Admission Process

A national level entrance examination NEET-PG is used to determine admission to this course in several colleges offering MD Dermatology courses. Applicants seeking admission to MD Dermatology must take the NEET PG medical exam, which is administered by NBE in December each year and results are issued in January. Furthermore, applicants must pass NEET-PG with the required cut-off percentile in each particular category, i.e., 50th percentile for general and 40th percentile for SC, ST, and OBC.
